Calling all USC Alumni & Friends.
In the past, political fundraising in Indonesia is about buying votes and buying influence. It is driven by a handful of self-serving individuals and not by the general public.
We host this event because we believe that must not be the norm. Ahok-Djarot will champion the first: clean, transparent, and professional fundraising campaign in Indonesia. It will follow all fundraising laws, and guarantee the candidate's independence from any debt of gratitude.
We have a unique opportunity, if not a duty to revolutionize the political fundraising culture in Indonesia, and ensure that Governor Basuki T. Purnama and Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat is accountable to all citizens of Jakarta.
